  • The height of Mount Everest increases by half an inch each year. Because of this growth, a person climbing Mount Everest today would have to go 30 inches further to reach the peak than Sir Edmund Hillary did in 1953.

  • When buying strawberries first smell them. If they smell good, they will taste divine. If they just look gorgeous but have not smell, they will have no taste too.

  • Flamingos are naturally white. Their diet of brine shrimp and algae turns them pink.

  • When buying oranges, take the orange with your hand. If it feels light, it's not juicy and will taste rather woody. Pick the ones that feel heaviest compared to similar size. They'll be the tastiest.

  • Fish can taste with their fins and tail as well as their mouth.
